The above ground anchor fitting is commonly used to prevent PE pipe thermal expansion and contraction. The fitting is fused into the pipe-line, and a metal band is secured over the anchor fitting in the middle, and securely bolted to an I-beam, support bracket, or embedded into a concrete block.
