• 2022 PPI HSB TR Policy Course: This 2.5-day course reviews (in-depth) the different aspects of the PPI HSB Program: history, definitions and key methodologies (HDB, MRS, SDB, PDB) as well as policies specific to PPI TR2 and PPI TR3, navigating the PPI TR documents with key standards and learning how best to apply the policies efficiently. The maximum number of participants for each day is 24 attendees.

• Acceptance of Data Policy (draft, formerly “Recognized Laboratories”): This policy (draft) details requirements for acceptance of sustained pressure test data generated in accordance with ASTM D1598 or ISO 1167. The policy (draft) pertains to PPI TR-4 and PPI TR-2 listings. The policy language (draft), overview slides and templates are posted under the "INDUSTRY REVIEW & COMMENT" section of this announcement page. It is best to view the overview slides before reading the policy (draft) language.
  
  
• Polyamide Listing Policy (draft): This routing listing request policy is revised to address comments received on the previous versions. The revised draft is released for its first ballot and will close prior to the August 2021 PPI HSB meeting. NOTE: Currently, the HSB Special Case process is utilized to list a PA compound with the PPI HSB.
  
  
• PPI TR-2 Colorant Packages (Joint Industry Project): An HSB Request for Input (HSB RFI) was distributed to identified industry stakeholders. Thank you for the responses received to date. If you have comments/ thoughts, please send prior to the deadline of June 30, 2021. The comments will be redacted for confidentiality, compiled and reviewed/ discussed during the August 2021 meeting.
  
  
• PPI TR-2 Thermal Stabilizer Policy (draft): The HSB RFI-1 closed on December 31, 2020. The draft policy was revised to address all comments that were received. An HSB RFI-2 is being prepared. It will include the new draft policy and explanation of the revisions addressing comments received from the various stakeholders.

• Acceptance of Data Policy (draft, formerly “Recognized Laboratories”): This policy completed the PPI HSB letter balloting process. The overview slides, policy (draft) and comment template are provided for industry review, for a minimum of 30-days. If you have comments or thoughts, please include on the comment template and send to Sarah Patterson via spatterson@plasticpipe.org. The comments will be reviewed and addressed by the PPI HSB. Please send comments/ thoughts by Friday, July 16, 2021. This allows time to prepare the comments for discussion during the August 2021 PPI HSB meeting.
